In this webpage we give updated information about the ongoing activities of the BORDA Research Group.

Our team was appointed as Consolidated Research Unit by «Junta de Castilla y León» in August 2015, until June 2021.

In turn, the BORDA Research Unit was in continuation of the activities of the former BORDA Research Group (established 2007).


  • New publication in Information Sciences

    The paper «The semantics of N-soft sets, their applications, and a coda about three-way decision», by J. C. R. Alcantud, has been accepted for publication in Information Sciences. The impact factor of this journal is 6.795 (JCR 2020).


  • New publication in Expert Systems with Applications

    The paper «OWA aggregation operators and multi-agent decisions with N-soft sets», by J. C. R. Alcantud, G. Santos-García, and M. Akram, has been accepted for publication in Expert Systems with Applications.


  • Mathematics Best Paper Award

    On April 8th, 2022, MDPI has announced the winners of the Mathematics 2020 Best Paper Awards. The article Soft Open Bases and a Novel Construction of Soft Topologies from Bases for Topologies, by José Carlos R. Alcantud, has been one of the six winning papers. These articles were nominated by the journal’s Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Francisco Chiclana.


  • New publication in Expert Systems with Applications

    The paper «An integrated ELECTRE-I approach for risk evaluation with hesitant Pythagorean fuzzy information«, by M. Akram, A. Luqman, and J. C. R. Alcantud, has been accepted for publication in Expert Systems with Applications.


  • New publication in Neural Computing and Applications

    The paper “Intuitionistic fuzzy divergences: critical analysis and an application in figure skating”, by M. J. Khan, P. Kumam and J. C. R. Alcantud, has been accepted for publication in Neural Computing and Applications. The impact factor of this journal is 5.606 (JCR 2020).
