On October 19th, 2021, the now famous study conducted by Ioannidis et al. at Stanford University has been updated. It contains a publicly available database with standardized citation indicators of over 100,000 top-scientists.

The updated dossier includes José Carlos R. Alcantud among the top 2% of scientists of their main subfield discipline. The latest single-year impact list places him among the top 5 researchers of the University of Salamanca.

News on the previous edition had been released earlier this year.
