In this webpage we give updated information about the ongoing activities of the BORDA Research Group. BORDA is an acronym for «Bounded Rationality and Decision Analysis».
Our team was appointed as Consolidated Research Unit by «Junta de Castilla y León» in August 2015, until June 2021.
In turn, the BORDA Research Unit was in continuation of the activities of the former BORDA Research Group (established 2007).
José Carlos R. Alcantud has received the 2015 Research Prize of the School of Economics and Business (Universidad de Salamanca). His paper Finite sets of data compatible with multidimensional inequality measures (Information Sciences 265, 2014, pp. 85-90) has the top 5-year impact factor among the papers published by researchers from the School in 2014.
Rocío de Andrés Calle, Teresa González Arteaga and José Carlos Rodríguez Alcantud are the proud organizers of the Special Session «Herramientas de soft computing para la toma de decisiones en ambientes de incertidumbre» at ESTYLF 2016 (XVIII Spanish Conference on Fuzzy Logic and Technology). The deadline for submission of Abstracts is January 30th, 2016.
As of today, the paper «A cardinal dissensus measure based on the Mahalanobis distance» by T. González-Arteaga, J. C. R. Alcantud and R. de Andrés Calle has been accepted in European Journal of Operational Research. The impact factor of this journal is 2.358, its 5-year impact factor is 2.911 (JCR 2014).
As of today, the paper «Some fundamental relationships among soft sets, fuzzy sets, and their extensions», by José Carlos R. Alcantud, has been accepted for publication in International Journal of Approximate Reasoning. The impact factor of this journal is 2.451, its 5-year impact factor is 2.510 (JCR 2014).
